As the Artz Centre continue to look for new ways to educate and inspire people; we hope that this new digital platform will provide the opportunity for people to talk about the things that really matter to them.
For the last 15 years Mark Ashton has been using his disruptive influence and passion for “The Arts” to change the lives of thousands of young people through his multi award winning social business. During this time Mark has collaborated with many inspirational people who share his passion for seeing other people succeed. During this podcast series; Mark invites some of those friends along to share their stories and leadership insights in the hope that it will inspire some of the young leaders of tomorrow.


This chatty and entertaining podcast takes you behind the scenes’ to the inner workings of The Artz Centre. Hosted by Artz Apprentice Joe Howard and “Top Knot” Jamie Mooney; the boys attempt to round up all the big stories, hot topics and juicy gossip from Skelmersdale’s most creative hub; featuring insightful interviews, entertaining anecdotes and brilliant live performance from some of the students, staff and volunteers that make the Artz Centre what it is.
A new podcast giving young people a modern platform to talk about all the issues that affect today’s teenage society. Hosted by good friends and brilliant teen ambassadors, Erica Lester (17) and Adam Ball (17), “The Teen Stage” will also look to explore the weird and wonderful world of performing arts; as the teenage presenters share their own transformative theatre school experiences.
