Artz student Ellie Nesbitt was in the news again this week after being highly commended at The Young Citizen of The Year Awards held at the police headquarters in Preston. Ellie met with the chief constable of Lancashire Constabulary and The Lord High Sheriff of Lancashire.
This award topped an amazing year for the 15 year old from Lathom High School who managed to scoop the special achievement award at The Artz Awards Presentation in January.

We put Ellie forward for the award which honours outstanding young people across Lancashire. Ellie has come such a long way in the last few years, growing in confidence and developing skills in so many areas.
