Artz Centre Students where using their talents again this week to help raise money for charities in Wigan. The event organised by Olivia Howe (21) raised nearly £2000 for local causes.
The event held at St Mathew’s Church in Wigan was a night of music and theatrical entertainment, which featured 4 performances from Artz Academy students. This is the second year in a row in which Artz have supported the event.
Artz Centre Manger – Michael Ashton had this to say;
“It’s great to be able to support other young people trying to make a difference. The event gave us an opportunity to showcase some talent from our vocal academy and raise some money in the process. I would like to thank Olivia Howe for the invitation and congratulate her and her team on an outstanding effort. I would also like to thank the students for their time and effort in preparing for this extra event in what is already an extremely busy year”
