The Artz Centre continues to offer great opportunities for it’s staff and it’s students. Ten members of The Artz Team completed a full days first aid course, all gaining the First Aid at Work Qualification and reiterating The Centre’s commitment to the safety and development of the people who use it.
Four of the people who took part on the course, where students of The Artz Academy aged just 16 or under but all who take an active role in working with Artz Academy’s Junior Students.
“I didn’t even know people of my age where allowed to do a qualification in first aid. The course was fun and very useful, covering lots of areas that we may need at some point. Having the qualification has made me more confident working with the younger children and has even helped me to get a part time job.” Artz Student
