The Artz Centre has become the only place of its type to have been given a state of the art AED. (Automated External Defibrillator) The device will now be permanently on site in the centre as part of a new partnership between The Artz Centre and The North West Ambulance Service. Artz staff and volunteers have undergone training on the equipment and are now well placed to react in the event of an emergency.
