After many years of teaching on the move Artz director Mark Ashton and his team finally have a place they can call home. A proposal to take over an old community centre in Skelmersdale was successful with Artz becoming the new tenants in January 2014. The renovation of this community space is already well underway with many exciting new plans to be unveiled in the near future.
Artz received fantastic support from local business The Karl Vella Group and Skelmersdale Action For Youth’s Alan Lewis. Mark is now working closely with the council to bring the old Birchgreen Centre into an exciting new chapter.
