Since the opening of the brand new Artz Centre community resource in Up Holland last October, the local organisation is now ready to reveal its latest expansion to the public. This week, the Artz Centre in Upholland opened the doors to its all new Artz Library and Cafe space, located in the old “community room” on the old Up Holland Library site.
This exciting new Community Library and Cafe venue offers fresh coffee and hot drinks daily, free Wi-Fi and a vast selection of books; available to lend through the Centre’s all new book lending service. The book stock collection includes fiction, non-fiction, best sellers, a local history catalogue and a vibrant children’s section too, there really is something for everyone.
The newly refurbished library and cafe space provides a warm and cosy atmosphere to meet, chat and connect with others, or to just sit in comfort and read. The room itself has undergone major aesthetic work; exposing a vaulted wooden beamed ceiling, shelving for over 4000 books and incorporating a new Cafe corner. The space is all new, but with a familiar, and quintessentially traditional feel.
The all-new Cafe Library space is open for business Monday to Friday 10pm-3pm, with a late night service, 10pm until 9pm on a Tuesday and Thursday (to soon include weekend openings, too).
The Artz book lending service is free for members, and registration costs just £2.00 and the trendy new venue is also available for small functions and events at selected times (contact Artz Team for further details).
