Over the years, at the Artz Centre we have been blessed with getting to know the Chane family in their entirety. In fact, Nic Chane, her 5 boys (Dan, Ben, Nathan, Ollie and Jack) and little girl (Rosie!) can usually always be found up at the Artz Centre in some form or fashion, and we love them for it!
In fact, almost as soon as lockdown began, the Chane Gang, as we call them, were up and ready to help, thinking of brilliant ways to support their Artz Centre. With this in mind, the 5 Chane boys agreed to have their head shaved, and wave goodbye to their hair, as a fundraising effort for a place they call their second home.
In fact, the head shave raised not only funds for the Centre, but funds to support another fantastic local cause during lockdown, Nathan’s football team: Club Santos FC.
The bravery of the boys didn’t stop there either; as they agreed to have the event broadcast on Facebook live, on Saturday 11th of April.
The Chane Gang raised over £285 with their efforts, and we are unbelievably proud and grateful.
